Unfortunately, today we have not a complete blue sky but some clouds in the sky.But still we can see famous three peaks of the Northern Japan Alps from here.Many of pilots are standing by at the take off point due to the cloudy sky with limited sun shine. Generally we see many flyers in the air in such condition, however the athletes are keep waiting for better thermal. It is impressive for me.Around the time of 11 am, we have good condition thanks to the sun shine and have nice southerly wind, many pilots took off.The pilots started early time have hard to gain the thermals, but around the noon time almost all flyers gained high altitude and some of them achieved over 3000m.According to Miyata-san, the condition today in Happo area was moderate and enjoyed to have good thermal conditions.
